Training Room Hire Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions together with the room hire booking form comprise the agreement pursuant to which LMG Training and Development provides rooms to the customer ("the hirer").
Hire Charges
The hire charges are as set out on the "Our Rooms" page.
When you get a breakdown of what your booking consists of you will only be provided with the extras listed on that breakdown. Therefore, please pay close attention to what is listed, and let us know immediately if we have missed out any of your requirements. If you have not received a breakdown and would like one, please request it.
Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the room hire charge is payable on reservation. The balance will be due 1 working days prior to commencement of the hire period.
In some special cases, hirers will be able to pay by weekly standing order (in advance). However, the full cost will be charged each week and they will forego any discounts applied to the multiple bookings.
For hirers paying by card, we would be pleased to automatically take the balance owing on the due date using the same card, with the hirer's permission.
LMG Training and Development reserve the right to charge late payment interest at a rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate on any outstanding invoices, each month a balance is outstanding for 30+ days. We also reserve the right to charge a client's card (if we have it on account) for any balances that have been outstanding for 45 days or longer. We will inform you of this charge.
Use of premises
The hirer, their staff, agents and visitors must only use those rooms which are specified in the hire confirmation.
The hirer must declare at the outset the purpose of the room hire and the room/s must be used for that purpose only. The hirer shall not permit more than the maximum number of people specified in the agreement to be in the room at any time.
The hirer must leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition. The hirer agrees to indemnify LMG Training and Development against any loss, theft or damage however caused, during or in respect of the hire period.
Noise
The hirer, their staff, agents or visitors must not make or permit to be made any noise which may interfere with the use of other rooms within the building or other hirers, LMG Training and Development staff or any adjoining neighbours.
Third parties
Applications made on behalf of a third party must be declared at the time of booking.
As LMG Training and Developments prices are on our website and clear for all to see third party companies are advised to make their charges transparent to their clients.
Requests for room hire
LMG Training and Development reserve the right to refuse requests for room hire.
Booking Status
The status of a Training Room Booking can be one of the following:
Enquired
Training room enquiries and quotes are not guaranteed. We reserve the right to give a room to another client without any notice to yourself.
Reserved
If you would like us to reserve a room for a particular date, then you will need to escalate your quote to Reserved and pay the 30% deposit.
Once reserved, if we get another client interested in booking the same date (or all three training rooms on that date become reserved) then we will give you 24 hours to confirm and pay the balance of your reserved date or transfer it to another date.
Confirmed
A confirmed booking is verbally confirmed by both parties, and awaiting full payment.
Final
A final booking is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
Liability
The liability of LMG Training and Development for direct loss arising out of their negligence (other than in respect of death or personal injury), breach of contract or any other cause of action arising out of or in connection with this agreement is limited to the value of monies received from the customer.
LMG Training and Development shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect loss, howsoever arising.
Security
LMG Training and Development accepts no responsibility for anything that is lost or stolen from its premises. Personal possessions are the sole responsibility of the hirer or their customers and customers are advised to keep valuable belongings with them at all times.
LMG Training and Development shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect loss, howsoever arising.
Indemnity
The hirer shall indemnify LMG Training and Development from and against:
all claims, demands, actions or proceedings in respect of the death or injury howsoever and whomever caused of or to any persons which shall occur or arise from any accident or occurrence which shall happen while such a person is on or upon any part of the premises during the hire period or in respect of any loss or damage suffered or sustained by any person in consequence of any such death or injury.
all claims, demands, actions or proceedings and any loss, damage or injury which may be brought against or suffered by LMG Training and Development arising from or in consequence of the non-observance or non-performance of any of these conditions or any act, neglect, default or omission of the hirer, their staff, agents or visitors.
any claim under copyright law.
Music
The hirer must not make or broadcast music without the express permission of LMG Training and Development. The hirer must in such cases organise directly with the Performing Rights Society or Mechanical Copyright Society or other bodies for any licence required for the use of copyrighted material.
Cancellations / Postponements
- If the Hirer gives us at least 10 working days' notice and the booking has not been marked as Final (non-refundable and non-transferrable), then the Hirer will be allowed to postpone their booking no later than 2 months after the original event date, subject to availability. Any cancellations or postponements outside of these timings will lose any monies already paid towards the booking.

Cancellations made by the hirer within 10 working days prior to the commencement of the hire period are liable to a 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made by the hirer more than 15 working days prior to the commencement of the hire period are liable to a 30% cancellation fee.
LMG Training and Development reserves the right to terminate the hire forthwith if, in their opinion, the hirer, their staff, agents or visitors are in breach of any of these terms and conditions. In the event that the hirer, their staff, agents or visitors are required to leave the premises immediately, taking with them their possessions and equipment. In the event of the hire being terminated in such a manner, LMG Training and Development will not be responsible for any claims, losses, actions or damages incurred by or on behalf of the hirer, their staff, agents or visitors in respect of the termination, nor will any hire charge be waived.
Validity
If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable the remaining provisions shall not be affected and shall be carried out as closely as possible according to the original intent.
Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance iwth the law of England and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for the determination of disputes arising under this agreement.
